Collaborators

Share a personal project with someone and control what they can do.

A collaborator is someone you have given access to one of your personal projects. They see that project and nothing else of yours.

This is the sharing model on Free and Pro, and it is still available on Agency for the owner's own personal projects.

What a collaborator can see

Only the projects you shared with them. Not your other projects, not your Career Vault, not your account or billing.

What they can do

Whatever the permission level you chose allows:

LevelWhat it allows
Full accessChange the project, its sections, and every task
Tasks onlyAdd and edit tasks, but not change the project itself
View + completeSee tasks and mark them complete

Tasks only is the default. See Permission levels.

Sharing and deleting a project always stay with you, at every level.

How many people you can share with

Your plan caps the number of unique people across all your personal projects. Sharing four projects with the same person counts as one.

A pending invitation counts against the limit while it is outstanding, so an invitation sent to a mistyped address holds a slot until you cancel it.
