Upgrade your plan
Move to Pro or Agency, and choose a billing cycle.
Before you begin
Decide which plan you need. See Free vs Pro vs Agency.
For Agency, decide roughly how many seats. You can change the number later, so an estimate is fine.
Upgrade to Pro
- Go to Settings → Subscription.
- Choose Monthly or Annual. Annual saves 20%.
- Select the Pro plan.
- Complete checkout.
Pro features are available as soon as payment goes through. Nothing needs re-creating.
Upgrade to Agency
- Go to Settings → Subscription.
- Choose Monthly or Annual.
- Select the Agency plan.
- Choose your seat count.
- Complete checkout.
Then:
Choosing a seat count
Count everyone who will be in the workspace, yourself included. Every live role takes a seat.
You can add seats later at any time, so start with what you need now. See Agency seats.
Other ways in
Upgrade prompts appear where a limit is reached, for example creating a fourth project on Free, or opening the Calendar view. Each takes you to the same place.
The account menu at the bottom of the sidebar also has Upgrade to Pro or Upgrade to Agency, depending on your current plan.
What happens straight away
- Pro: your project and task limits lift, Career Profile publishing unlocks,
the Calendar view opens, and the premium theme colors become selectable.
- Agency: you can create a workspace and invite members, and time tracking
becomes available inside it. Career Vault is hidden by default on Agency, and a published Career Profile is set back to Draft.
Pro to Agency
Your projects, tasks, and Career Vault are untouched. You gain the workspace.
Note the two Career Vault effects above: it is hidden until you switch it back on, and a published profile returns to Draft.
Payment
Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach VA To-Do's own systems. Invoices and receipts live in the billing portal, reached from Settings → Subscription.
Team members do not need to buy anything
If someone is joining your Agency workspace, they do not need their own subscription. Your seat covers them, and includes Pro on their personal account. See Sponsored Pro.
